Trash Enclosure Work Starting This Week at Walker Ave
Dear Wafco Mills Owners and Residents,
We hope this message finds you well. The Wafco Mills Condominium Association Board is pleased to announce that trash enclosure construction at the end of Walker Ave will begin this week, following Duke Energy’s removal of a utility pole. On Monday, April 28, 2025, Board members met on-site with Diego (Grandeur USA), architect Carl Myatt, engineer Robert Russell, and a utility representative to finalize grading plans.
To ensure safe and efficient work:
No parking is permitted in front of the construction fencing at any time. Vehicles parked there when contractors arrive will be towed at the owner’s expense, per Wafco Mills Rules and Regulations (June 2021, Page 5) and NC General Statutes § 20-219.2.
Owners must notify tenants of this restriction and the project, as required by the Rules (Page 4).
Avoid placing items near the construction area.
The Board’s authority to enforce these measures is granted under the Articles of Incorporation (Page 2) and NC Condominium Act § 47C-3-102. Your cooperation is vital to improving our community. For questions, contact the Board via WafcoMills.com.
Thank you for your prompt attention.
Sincerely,
Wafco Mills Condominium Association, Inc.
